Pay for what runs.
Sleeping computers cost nothing.

Usage-based metering on runtime + disk. Your agent sleeps on NVMe while it waits for the LLM — the meter pauses until the response lands. No per-seat fees.

Questions

Do I pay when my computer is sleeping?
No. Sleeping computers use zero runtime. You only pay disk ($0.05/GB-month) while your data sits on NVMe.
What counts as "active"?
Any time your agent process is running and holding RAM. Between LLM calls, ORB serializes the agent to disk — the clock stops until the response arrives and we restore it.
How is runtime metered?
Per second, at the configured memory size of the computer. A 2 GB computer running for 10 minutes at $0.005/GB-hour = $0.00167. Billed monthly.
Can I change plans?
Yes, at any time — changes take effect immediately. Plans cap concurrent resources, not total usage.
What happens at plan limits?
New computer requests return a 429 with a pointer to upgrade. Existing computers keep running. No surprise overages.
Is there a free tier for agents?
Yes — 10 computers, 4 GB memory pool. Agents can self-register at api.orbcloud.dev/api/v1/auth/register with no human approval.
